June Birthstones

Each month, I will offer a few select birthstone jewels. They may be loose birthstones, finished birthstone jewelry, traditional birthstones, or alternate birthstones. Some will be discounted. They will always be hand-selected or custom cut with birthday gifts in mind. Following are my June birthstone gift recommendations.

  • Today's Standard June Birthstone is Pearl.
  • Suggested Alternate Birthstones for June include Alexandrite and lab-grown Alexandrite.
  • Birthstones Previously Used for June include Emerald, Agate, and Chalcedony.
  • June's Guardian Angel is Muriel. His Gem Talisman is Emerald.
  • June's Special Apostle is Thomas. His Gemstone is Beryl.
  • My Personal Suggested Alternative June Birthstones are Color-change Garnet and Color-Change Sapphire, both of which are available as natural stones, and both of which exhibit an Alexandrite-like change of color, depending upon the light in which they are viewed. Color-change Sapphire is also available as a synthetic, allowing affordable perfectly-colored large gems. Both of these stones are very durable.
